Children are the most precious commodity of our society. This is the reason why we have to support and foster young and especially disadvantaged people. Ziehm Imaging is deliberately in the search for projects with a concrete reference to kids in order to contribute its share by means of implementing individual ideas. The following projects “Zielpunkt – Die Bewegung für Dich”, ”Verein zur Förderung chinesischer Waisenkinder” as well as with “Nepalhilfe im kleinen Rahmen” meets this requirement. Consequently, Ziehm Imaging decided to collaborate with theses initiatives.
The project „Zielpunkt – Die Bewegung für Dich!” transfers basic soft skills to young pupils of the lower secondary school in order to provide them with better starting conditions for their professional life. All pupils of the 7th grade in the Thusneldaschule in Nuremberg have to attend the dancing classes of the tutor Klaus-Peter Rilling on a compulsory base. The school year closes with a public performance of the rehearsed choreography. The dancing classes are supposed to foster soft skills such as punctuality and reliability as well as key qualifications e.g. capacity to work in a team or social competence. Beside the financial support of the company, participating pupils additionally have the possibility to complete an internship with Ziehm Imaging in order to collect first impressions in the professional world.
Objectives of the dedication of Ziehm Imaging
The long term objectives of the dedication of Ziehm Imaging is the support of children, who have hardly any professional opportunities in today’s times but who are however a very important part of our society. By doing so, so called soft skills, e.g. discipline, ability to work in a team and motivation are being transferred, which are supposed to enable the kids to attain an adequate appearance as well as a corresponding self-confidence for the future professional world. Furthermore, the internships in our company aim to provide the kids with a change from their daily routine and try to support them by identifying their strengths, weaknesses and interests in order to internalize them and to find their personal way.

The Orphan Children of Henan
In the central province of Henan (China) innocent people contaminated in the mid-nineties by means of blood transfusions with the HIV-virus. The consequences of the epidemic resulted in over 57.000 parentless children.
Objectives of the dedication of Ziehm Imaging
Being a member of the society for the support of Chinese orphans it is our objective to find a perspective and worthwhile situation for these orphans. Together with the Chinese government of the city Zhengzhou, a Taiwanese society as well as with founder members we would to realize a concept in order to offer these kids a future. Just as the prime minister in China just said: “All children are supposed to find shelter under the blue skies of China.”
